I've recently been in another 599 GTB and noticed that the shifts are much smoother than on mine.

There is a noticeable "clunk" between the shifts, almost as if something would be hitting the car at the rear.

Could this be the PIS needing adjustment? Clutch is new and car has less than 20k miles.

    Thank you.

I would have the F1 system serviced (fluid changed, system bled, SD3 check, PIS optimized) and see if that fixes her. Should be done every three years according to the maintenance schedule.

Fluid has already been changed and bled (manually), and no difference.

The next step would seem is SD3 and PIS...

    The dealer doesn't know ?!?!

If the fluids have been changed sounds like a sensor problem.

This is one of the reasons to dislike paddle shifters.

Please! Let's not turn this into yet another F1/Manual threads. It adds no value to the OP.

To the OP: "manual bleed" is a myth. There isn't an bleed screw for the F1 and you can't cycle the gears completely enough to bleed the system completely. You need an SD to do that job correctly. Having said that. Taz is right. You need to get this to someone who knows the system and can get it set up correctly for you. I find that a well set up F1 is VERY reliable; unfortunately, many just hack at it, don't know enough about the system, and just don't get it set up right. In your case, the PIS may be wrong, a sensor may be dirty, throwout bearing may be going bad (not disengage), there may be a clutch issue, there are a lot of potential causes.

It is well known that paddle-shifter manuals were designed by Rube Goldberg when he was on one of his many acid trips. If you want simplicity, lower maintenance costs, and more driving enjoyment, get a stick.

Well, I would need an additional (after trading mine in) 300,000$ to get a stick...I think I should manage to get my issue fixed for less than that :)

...or 50,000$ plus to do a proper F1 to manual conversion...

If it is indeed the engine/transaxle mounts, get it taken care of right away and try not to drive the car. The twisting force can crack or weaken the aluminum welds.

Checked, all good. The problem is 100% from the clutch engaging/disengaging.

Did you found a reason / cause ?

I think mine is developing the same issue as yours...

I Do not use it often only saw that happening late summer when i drive it for two weeks after being stored in the garage for almost one year..
