In the video Mr. JWW compares the 812 with the F12 and it was interesting because he mentions that his biggest criticism to the former is the fact that the V12 sound at low speed isn't as splendorous. When we driving with the windows closed is always very difficult to tell how the F12b sounds from the outside but I've noticed that mine is relatively quite at low speed. However the sound changes and improves substantially at low revs and speed if I open the exhaust valves with the remote control and continuous refined and isn't too loud.
+1 All you need is the valve controller and below 3000rpm the sound is so much nicer on the F12b. Makes me wonder if the test cars have valves set open all the time purely for getting the best sound on reviews?
Dynamically I won't question the car I'm sure it's stunning but the number of times I've driven an F12 I never really thought it needed much improvement! Certainly not more power.
Good point. However the JWW guy seems as big tosser as the schmee idiot......how these guys have managed to to get themselves in the lime-light is beyond me or anyone i know who is in the car world.....i remember that schmee kid from early 2000's standing on corner of Sloane St and Knightsbridge shouting rev-it rev-it 1'000'000 times per day....F me me and my mate actually contemplated punching the jack ass once
Let's think about the people at Ferrari who are in charge of designing the new cars. From the engine to chassis to suspension to braking, all of these people know exactly how the F12 and TDF work. Better than any owner even. Their mission is to out perform and make improvents. Then another group tests the cars both on the track and on the road. It's a pretty good system for ensuring success that the new models outshines the old. But if you want more qualified reviews, look to some of the young youtubers who own and drive exotics everyday. Shmee and Mr JWW. In the end, perhaps no one measures up to your standard. Then you'll just have to take the plunge and buy. Please share your opinions with us!
Let's agree to disagree. I'm not one to get into banter about some unqualified jack asses that somehow manage to get themselves heard....no chance they spend 10% of the time that most of us have/do in our F-cars or other cars - I don't mention my other cars on here as I don't mention my F-cars on other forums.....
Well MrJWW put 20k miles on his GT3 in less than a year so I think he drives more than most people around here. Plus he also owns a F12b which he's currently selling.
I prefer his videos to Schmee's. JJW is articulate and well spoken and he doesn't try too hard. Schmee is like the Disney version of youtube car analysts. It could be why each brand loves him so much. He'll never say the wrong thing.
I think you grey aficionados were right, this is Canna di Fucile. https://www.instagram.com/thedrive/ Image Unavailable, Please Login
Zero stress here whatsoever --- actually contrary at the minute However I fully agree with your method for stress therapy if/when needed ;-)
There is a violent heat wave on Paris currently. I almost died cooked in the subway. Worst day the recent years. But YOU my friend... Definitely SAVED my day. Thanks ! Probably the same car posted a few pages ago. So we were right. CdF Thanks again... I was waiting for this picture since February 16...
Oh, no, not again! Having bookmarked some 10 photos of a GTC4Lusso in CdF, I'm certain this 812 is also CdF.
I see it as too dark to be GS and it has that distinctive "Graphite" hint from CdF Like always, when 2 colors are close, I can be wrong
