Don't know if he drove this one much but as an owner of an Alfa Romeo 164, I have always loved this photograph. Jeff Dallas, Texas Image Unavailable, Please Login
I've read somewhere Enzo had a favorite: the Peugeot 404, because of its interior room and comfort. The 365 GT4 2+2/400/412 were his favorites for everyday use and, being Pininfarina designed, bear striking resemblance to the Peugeot 404, launched in 1960. I bet it isn't a coincidence. Kind regards, Nuno.
The gentleman on the left is none other than Franco Gozzi. According to the late Harold T.C. Angel, just this simple scene took many takes. Mr. Ferrari was quite old then and Gozzi assisted the director and crew every step of the way.
Good info. With his hair and overcoat, he looks a lot like the TV character "Columbo", who also drove a Peugeot, so I couldn't resist making a comment.
Enzo owned/drove this for a while. Now it's part of the REVS Collection. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Many years ago I helped Tom S shove a GTE off of his trailer that he believed was an Enzo driven car. Any evidence of that?
Have you browsed through that thread? Some chassis numbers here that might be of interest to you? http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/vintage-thru-365-gtc4/38021-enzo%B4s-ferrari%B4s-4.html Rgds
I love the Pooch 404s. Although they had different characteristics, the Volvo 122s are similar in size and charm.
