Beautiful car - I'd say 10k off is probably a good deal
Excellent car - agree low 120s and I'd jump. For resale do consider the non standard paint which may have a limited audience.
That 430 is incredibly optioned and looks great. Just call John Levy or Hank Carpenter at the dealer-they will get you what you need and are incredibly knowledgeable.
Fwiw most of things you mentioned are insignificant, aside from the service history. You can replace books etc easily. Even if there are sticky pieces those are easy to fix. If the car has a good history don't let it get away. That's a beautiful car and you don't see that color much at all. Low 120s wld be a great buy. If I cld convince myself I need a 3rd I wld pay 130k all day.
I agree with the advice above. It is a beautiful spec. I would add, however, the color combo and the lack of shields will mean if you go to sell it, you will have a little bit of a harder time or will have to lower the price. I am absolutely not trying to discourage you, if you love the color combo, you should do it. Just be aware of what you are getting into.
im not so sure about that wrt this car. its likely the guy who buys this color will appreciate the no shields. I for one wld pay a bit more for this setup. im in love with it. this combo oozes class and as much as i love argento, i kind of wish i had this one instead.
I think it oozes class... but on a mid-60's convertible. On an aggressive-looking car such as F430 though? I think it looks wimpy.
I recently listed my 2006 F430 Spider in the classifieds. Very highly optioned with 261k sticker. Although it won best in class in Monterey last year and has under 11k miles, I'm looking to move it quickly and am open to offers in the 130k+ range: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ferraris/553381-2006-ferrari-f430-spider-f1-best-class-winner-new-post.html Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
After about six months of vigorously searching for the one, I've come to the conclusion that a car with 18-30K miles might be a better deal - IF one wants the car to drive. If it's to sit and be admired, that's another story for another time. I've noted that when I can see the service records many have had the same few items repaired. Cracked exhaust components, other little things. Consider lastly the significantly different price for a sub-10K vs a 25K mile car. Hmm. What y'all reckon? Could be these 'fixed' things don't stay fixed, too.
I have owned a 3 pedal 430 coupe since new (12 years) and had many of those little things you speak of repaired under warranty and no, they have not recurred. Dave
