fuse is for the headlamp mtrs which stoped working this year. load side of fuse is a short to ground. i was hoping someone had already solved this problem and save me some troubleshooting. would you suspect an internal short in one or both mtrs? thanks in advance. jon s

You should be able to pull the connectors apart at the motors, to work out where the short is.

If you're using a multimeter, it will show continuity whether there's a short or not. Measure the resistance.

thanks guys next dry day i'll pull the mtr connectors and yes ur right the motor windings look like a dead short to the ohmmeter. so much for electrical troubleshooting after a massive stroke; pretty much erased any hope of clear thinking. i'll let you know what i find cheers, jon
