The way it's going, merc will have seat free next year, Elton's. I have had an interesting conversation with someone who tells me things are not sweet in Mercedes world at the moment. Behind closed doors, bottles performance is shaking things up with those that see elton as taking the credit but not the blame each time giving some of his detractors ammunition to pick away at toto wolfs love affair with him. Maybe elton will leave of his own accord, almost definite if bottles beats him overall this year, or just maybe Mercedes themselves will pull the plug on the guy now he's exposed as merely as good as most, not better than the field. Some comment that if vettel or ricciardo were in the Mercedes last year rosberg would have been a clear second, and bottles wouldn't be so close in performance (and better now he's used to the car) this year. However, I don't see Seb going there, I see Kimi staying, and either of the can drivers joining bottles. Ferrari like a clear pecking order, and why change it and have the sort of issues other teams have with drivers
Nice info, i also suspected that thigs shouldn't be very rosy at Merc, Hamilton must be in a bad mood, loosing points to Seb and being caught by Bottas, unless he starts winning and gaining points to Seb, this will become worse, and things will be heavy at Merc, everyone will realise (if they haven't done so already) he's a negative influence on the team...i'm absolutly sure Ricci would do a better job than him, but i believe Merc will try and get Max if the ditch Elton....either way, i think Bottas won't be going away, i think he's a likeable guy and a very good driver.
+1 Though Jos Verstappen made it clear that Max is staying with Red Bull next year, I think if Elton's seat opens up, Max is going to end up a very rich man whichever seat he has
Max and Kimi should be your dream team...but you might be busy explaining us week after week why it did not work out this week and why both are not to blame at all
F1 in London ?.......LOL......I'd rather go away on holiday as well. Can't fault Hamilton for making that choice.
Does'nt surprise me. He claims he is on a 2 day holiday....puhhhleeeese. He probably feels its a waste of time; it would'nt be his first.
