I, not sure how you read my post, but I was only trying to point out to you that average race fans are not necessarily maniacs about it like some of us here, all they want to do is see racing, and maybe meet their heroes. Elton's non-appearance let's down those fans, the very ones he tries to obtain, and the ones that help pay his salary through their support. The very fact he was booed in a British venue should be quite disturbing for him really, I doubt he thought it could happen, and my comment on social media is simply because liberty, we are told, are media performance driven so the fact so many were stating they would unclick him or whatever does make a statement. I, like you, despise the idea of twit and faceparty so don't take my comments personally, I was offering my opinion of why this was an own goal for elton, and any post I've made for over a week has been constructive and if anything, witty too.

Mechanics now LOL. The comment was about the other drivers. Thanks for that insight though LOL. Here's some help-->> The team has been embarrassed and its public and its in the press. The other drivers made the effort to support the series, the promoter and importantly the fans. The other 'superstars' did their job. Period.
All (English!) journo's are pissed with him. Even Sky itself (known here as Lewis Mania channel) has made numerous comments that portrays him negatively. Fans are not taking it kindly (except of course the ones with #44 in their profiles, lol)
Amazing how every other driver on the grid will miraculously be well rested enough for the race despite going to the fan event other than God Child Hamilton. There is no way to spin this. Valiant effort though. That's what he does when he has nothing and is tapping out (which is often). Next he will probably label you a racist.

Yes, it is his business...but one should remember that when he is talking about the important support of his fans and than they are the best in the world...He proved that his 2-day holiday is more important to him that his home crowd and the desperate tries of his hardcore fans to even defend him on this is absolutely ridiculous!!! It is like someone punching in your face and you defend him for doing so....But if they are happy with that they deserve it maybe...it´s their business, not mine
The moment he said he would go on holiday rather than go to the event first says more about what he thinks than what he does on social media. In honestly the Silverstone withdraw while important, him being excuse cause he didn't stand by the decision doesn't make sense when there's better ways to do it rather than doing what he did that made fans be mad at him for doing it and even his hardcove media that favored him have question what was he thinking of doing that which is something else that your supporters didn't lIke what your did. He could of either stated that while he could go to the event he would not support actions of Liberty on a banner so that he could give it in the crowd of people there that he wasn't going support liberty over that whIle respecting his fans. He had every right to avoid doesn't mean we can't rightfully critic for doing it when every other driver and team came.
