I'm am about to put a few cars on Bring A Trailer and was asked by a fellow F-Chatter to list them here first:

    1995 JAGUAR XJ-6 Series III 4dr Sedan
    VIN: SAJAV1341FC415010
    Mileage: 118,530

Regent Grey (metallic) with Buckskin leather interior.
Titled, Running, Current CA Registration. Clean CARFAX (enclosed)

Dealer installed options: genuine Dayton Wire Wheels (original wheels and center caps available if desired), Fog Lights, and Car Cover. Other options: Burl Walnut Shift Knob, and Alpine CD Stereo.

This car was sold new at Performance Jaguar in San Diego. A true, two owner vehicle, we purchased the car from Performance at the end of its first lease in April 1989, and it’s been in our family ever since. All maintenance and service records going back to purchase date. All original manuals, tools, and warranty card. It had been in California until 2015 when it came to Washington DC (I’m in the military and was transferred from San Diego). Once in DC, it has been kept in an underground garage.

This car was completely stripped to bare metal and was repainted in 1994. It was given a 3 stage paint job in its original color. The original carpets show little to no wear and the African Burl-Walnut dash is remarkable given its age - there is one small crack in the glove box door. The leather interior has no cracks and moderate wear, however, seat bolster stitching is starting to fray. During our ownership, we’ve spent over $22,000 restoring the paint, interior, and repairs and services. However, two winters here have started to take their toll on the car. There are small rust blisters starting to appear at the lower windshield corners. I can’t bear to see it deteriorate and hope to find a new owner who will spare it further decline.

    Notable Recent Service and Repairs:

Oct 2016 New Front brake calipers, master cylinder, and flex brake lines - ONLY front brakes were overhauled. Rear brakes need service/rebuild.
Oct 2014 New Power Steering Rack & Pinion Assembly and High Pressure Lines
    Sep 2014 New Transmission installed
Jun2011 New Catalytic Converters & Fuel Injection Control Unit installed after failed smog check,
Fuel Tank Sending Unit, and 90,000 Mile Service
Apr 2011 New Tires ( Michelin Harmony x4)

BaT listing will start it at $2500.

As you know, that rust is so common around the windshield and the wheel wheel.

I think the SIII is such a superb car and this is a great color combo. High quality examples are getting very hard to source.

If I had an extra garage spot, it would be in there.

    GLWS!

Shame really, this car was immaculate until coming to D.C. I can count on one hand the times it saw rain in SOCAL. One winter here, even with fresh water rinses, and the rust started. I can't bear to use it during winter anymore, but the wife gets furious if I make her take her convertable.

Thus, it's time she goes to a new home.

This is a bucket list car for me. And you're local. Arggg. Wish I had a place to keep it or I'd snap it up.

    GLWS!

I had a 1982 XJ6 and I have to tell you that these cars are superb to drive, so nice, smooth and quiet. The later SIII cars are excellent and reliable too!
