Chicken express here in the Dallas area is absolutely the best fried chicken; 2 wings, a breast, roll, gravy and french fries. Told my wife they must lace is the crack because when I get a craving for it I can't control myself.

    Really? This Chicken Express?

I have seen a zillion of those since we moved to Dallas, and never been in. I may have to check it out. This is best fried chicken we've had since we moved to Texas...Big Mama's Chicken & Waffles on Forest.

However, we usually wait until we go to New Orleans or Memphis to get our fried chicken freak on!

Wife took the kids to her parents, so I'm at it again. Let's do this! Gonna use that coupon for the two-piece dark meat deal. Original recipe.

We have chickens. They're boisterous, curious, charming, and I can't help but enjoy watching their theater. I thought shooting a pic of eating KFC in front of them might be funny, but I couldn't go through with it. Which reassures me that I'm not a monster. Don't get me wrong, I still devoured that dark meat goodness (and mashed potato with gravy and biscuit), just not in front of THEM.

I only like extra crispy white meat.

But if I eat it once a year that's a lot!

I like KFC and Popeye's but my favorite is Lucky Wishbone down in Anchorage.

KFC is the number one fast food chain in China -- bigger than McDonalds

Some R.E. brokers brought in fried chicken to class for lunch the other day. First time I've had it in forever. Same problem as I remember, feel like complete **** afterwards forthe rest of the day.

Don't know how you guys can eat it.

It was from Walmart of all places, but it was good. Skin was extra crispy like I like it.

    This.

My son was the first customer on opening day of the Chicken Express on Campbell in Richardson. He likes it so much he got there at 10:30am to be first in line. I eat their chicken fingers until I'm so full I'm sick. It's sad, really. They make good sweet tea too!

^ Good fried chicken is always worth a drive, especially if you got a fun car to get there. There is a gas station in the south side of Memphis that makes great fried chicken. We usually stop by every time we're back in town visiting...T

Image Unavailable, Please Login I forgot to get the coleslaw side, which my wife especially likes. So I offered to go back (in a different car, the venerable 348, which is an old hand at this route), because I'm a martyr like that. I used the opportunity to add the magical mashed potatoes and gravy to the order, since I neglected to get that the first time around.
