By MIKE COLE ( Ferrari and Maserati Master Technician ) Having had an affinity for European marques, since my early teenage years, my affinity for Italian cars became a passion while living in Germany and Italy in the late 80’s and early 90’s. Seeing the beauty and capabilities of Ferrari's and Alfa Romeos, among others, in full form on the Autostrade and Autobahnen really demonstrated how amazing they are and what separates them from the competition. Ultimately, this translated into a career immersed in European automotive pedigree and cutting edge technology, with experience in high end cars from Lotus to Porsche with over a decade between Mercedes, Maserati and Ferrari alone. Aside from the exclusivity and enjoyment of working with Ferraris and Maserati's, and the excellent team of people here, the beauty of working at Boardwalk is the ability, as a technician, to have more direct interaction with clients, which I enjoy, and serves to improve the client’s service relationship and experience beyond what any other dealership offers.
CHRIS DENMAN - Ferrari / Maserati Master Technician Chris Denman has been a technician for Boardwalk Ferrari & Maserati for eight years. With beginnings in the newly launched Ferrari Classiche program, his experiences have ranged from the classic models, to the current Ferrari Challenge Series, and includes training for the latest Ferrari hyercar, the LaFerrari. His typical workday includes repairs and maintenance for both Maserati and Ferrari vehicles. Training and new technician orientation is also within his scope of duties. Having spent almost 15 years in the automotive industry, his knowledge and professionalism are readily apparent.
By THOMAS POLLOCK - Ferrari / Maserati Master Technician 47 years I have spent in the automotive business. Love of cars is the driving force behind my understanding how the complex systems function. When I started working on cars it was on 6 volt VW beetles, such a simple design. Then over the years adding more and more layers to the electrical systems making cars safer, faster and more reliable. I am a Master BMW tech, ASE Master and Bosch service Master tech, with many dealer schools and electrical courses attended. This is where I need to be with the most cutting edge super car on the Planet. Ferrari are the most sophisticated work of auto art known to man. I am proud to be a small part of the " Ferrari Family " .
Great job, Steve and the rest of the team. The relationship your dealership has with the local chapter, owners and enthusiasts should be a model for every dealer and every performance auto marque. Even though I'm not local anymore, not a new car customer, and simply an FCA member with ties to DFW, it's been fun to see how Boardwalk doesn't simply sponsor, but genuinely participates in the local Ferrari enthusiast community. Keep it up fellas!
Thank you sir! ( ....even IF by participating you mean that time I ate your chili on accident at that one insta-lunch... LoL ) S
congrats Steve & Boardwalk Ferrari! I'm very proud of you and the growth you have achieved at the dealership, as well as your continued support to the many social and driving events and the FCA DFW. I'm always happy to take my cars to you and your amazing service team!
Bought my first Ferrari last week. Had a rattle driving all the way back from Denver. Stopped in to boardwalk to have a state inspection done and told them about the noise. A mechanic was nice enough to come ride with me and found it immediately. Have an appt tomorrow to drop it off to have it repaired. So far I'm impressed.
