I will get bashed for this, but I always thought the modern day Hunt, was Ham. He's flamboyant, loves to party and is surrounded by beautiful women.

Other current F1 characters are Ricci with that unbeatable smile. The verbose, and sign language fluent Seb. Kimi and his "leave me alone" schtick, and the "blunt, in your face" Max. These days of political correctness has really killed the characters in F1.

No to flame you, but Hamilton is to me the exact oposite of Hunt, no one is close to him, but if i had to choose anyone it would surely be KImi. Point is, Elton is a fake, he has absolutly no personality, so he dresses funny and keep trying new looks, likes to beseen with music celebrities, posting on social media in order to look like a cool guy, when in fact he is just a holow schell. Kimi doesn't need to "try", he's just like that, drinks, get's drunk, plenty of ladies to (now looks to be settle), and creates funny situations, whatever he does, goes viral, Elton posts his stuff himself, otherwise nobody would even care...

No, that was Katie Molson, the heiress of the Molson Brewery and Stirling Moss' first wife.

Not at all. Hunt was deeply charismatic, buffoonish, and humorous. A rock star. He carried these traits over into his announcing career.

Elton is sullen and humorless, especially when he's not P1. Could you imagine Elton as an announcer? I wouldn't listen to THAT.

 

Stirling is "The Man". Peter Revson was a cool dude.... Heir to the Revlon empire.

I personally think Hamilton is basically shy and introvert.

So, he over-compensates to get noticed; hence everything he does is exaggerated. .

That's my impression.

I met a few individuals like that.
