    Just heard the sad news that Allen Bishop passed away. A sad day in the Ferrari world. No details. I will miss him. He was the one that got me started judging, in the Ferrari arena.

    Alan was a good guy and quite knowledgeable.

    Ferrari and the Ferrari community have lost a good friend.

    I knew Allen for 20-25 years. We would see each other at car shows or he would call me to buy parts. He used to work for Bill Rudd Motors way back in the 1970's & 80's.
    I could be wrong about the dates though. I don't know if he left behind any family except his Ferrari family. RIP Allen.

    I'm just plain shocked to hear about Allen. Is this really true? We've been really good friends since the 1970s and worked together on a number of Ferrari projects. What a great guy and true Ferraristi! I cannot begin to express my sorrow and deepest feelings. Could someone please respond to my post by telling me what happened. I never thought I'd see the day when I'd be writing these words -- RIP Allen.
