    From the add:

    "No sticky parts"

"Really perfect condition all in all"

"Needs absolutely NOTHING and in nearly new condition"

Arguably no sticky parts but a bubbling HVAC panel and certainly "cleaned only part". Front bumper looks a bit scraped up, hard to tell but looks like a wheel or two are also.

I think it's in nice, good condition. Perfect? Not a chance :)

Those appear to be F430 wheels, too, and are definitely not 575M wheels, unless they were added after the photos were taken. If so, they are 1" too narrow in front for a 456 or 456M.

Is it appropriate to ask how things are going with your recent 456 acquisition? Did it turn out to be a decent specimen - for the price?

Actually I would say it is a terrible place to buy a car. EBay is a place to sell flawed cars IMO.

Ok, I bought the 456 GT on BAT a few months ago as a 50th birthday present for myself. Can't say enough good things about the seller. Car is just as he described. Car seems to run great although it does have some issues to be addressed like the window gaps and A/C is not cold etc.

    Here is a picture.

I have dreamed about it for long enough and the time is now. I am ready to own a 456. I am looking for a manual car and, while I prefer Tour de France Blue with Tan interior, I will consider most colors. I'm simply looking for a good honest 6-speed car and I'm hoping to buy from a private party - someone who has cherished his Ferrari and wants it to pass on to a new loving home.

I am on the West Coast (USA) but will consider any car located in the States. If you know someone who is thinking about selling or trading their's in, please direct them to me.

    Thank you,
    Derek

My old 575M 18" wheels and my old NF2s are both on 456Ms.

There are a number of 456,s for sale in Europe. Unfortunately they're cost prohibitive to convert to US safety standards and bring into the US. However, values may rise high enough to make it work.

Starting in 2019, early (1994) 456 GTs will be able to come into the States without all the hassle. Some of them do not even have airbags.

The very expensive and pristine 456M GT that has been for sale at Ferrari of Seattle for awhile is no longer listed on their web site. Anyone with info?

You noticed that too. I saw it no longer listed 1-2 months ago. FYI, although I'm sure you know this pucky, this car was originally listed at 175k or thereabouts. A couple of price drops later and it was down to 135, I think on the market for more than a year (if not two!!). A low mileage TdF "m" manual. I'm curious myself if it sold; and of course for how much (if in fact it did sell). Seems like the market for all f-cars has pulled back a bit, most notably the 550s which could not be had for less than 150k (asking) a year ago.
