    It didn't sell for the 209k asking price for sure. It was offered to several traders/dealers for a LOT less.

    CS prices/demand appears soft for sometime now. Supply seams up too. I know the prices are defintely higher than back than but how does the current inventory of North American cars compare to Andrews first post?

    Just like anything that's 'blue chip', it will go up and retreat, then go up again and so on. Since you don't have a car, it might just be the time to step up.

    That's a great question...most of the cars that sold during the height of valuation (2015 and into 2016) for $240-$300k were destined for collections to look nice and not be used as a sports car. So low mileage garage queens.

    So-called "driver cars" (is that redundant?) sales were fewer I believe and not at those levels.

    Mike at yellow compass sold a 23k mile, non stripe car for $175k on f-chat a while back. And that accident history car sold at Barrett Jackson scottsdale in Jan 2017 for iirc $187k. I don't have first hand info of any other sales. Stokpro would know of any...it's been very slow out there (like with all the cars that ran up in value during that time).

    No one buying these cars today will be selling them for less. The price will go up, just the slope won't be as steep
