I doubt it was that easy or why was he not allowed to drive over the curbs? When your steering at your car is not centered it is out of adjustment because it was not Set up properly but if it suddenly happens during the race there must be a reason for that, it does not come from nothing....So there might have been more handling issues then just the alignment.
This has nothing to do with who you Support but until the safety car Phase when Seb first reported on the problems he was pulling away.

Didn't someone say Vettel had the steering wheel issue before the start ?

If not then you are correct, as it may have been a loose nut which would only get exacerbated by hitting the curbs.

Luckily it all held together until the end of the race :)

Which part of his argument is wrong ?

I'm sure he would have had his team mate offside for the rest of the season if he reneged

Further to my original post, Hamilton is quoted in BBC :

"(if) I lose the world championship; I don't know what I would say then if it is by three points or in that vicinity. But as I said I want to win it the right way."

    - Tipping my cap... bravo.

While I hope he loses it by fifty points, and comes fourth, after Seb, Kimi, then bottles, I'd really really enjoy it if it came down to three points hehehehehe. Too funny.

IS it me or is this a complete nonsense!!! I mean, Botas is trusty and gentleman enough to let Elton by so he can have a shot at KImi, being reassured that Elton will give him back the place..i mean, he takes all the risk of losing a position, Elton however, is given a place and fails to deliver, so in the end, he keeps to his word and gives the place back, and is put on a pedestal for doing what he commited to??? Is everyone nuts? I don't see anyone praising Bottas for letting him by!!! It even seems that Elton had the right not to give back the place! He did what he was ordeerd to do and what he commited to do, no more, no less, there is no cause for being praised here, not by me anyway!!

If you have a problem to face a different opinion then you should not post in a forum or you should ignore them. And as soon as your arguments start to make sense there would be no need to "bash" them. For someone who called others racists ocassionally you have a very thin skin [emoji6]

Kimi made a mistake in the final sector in quali.

Vettel was barely any faster, they had a healthy 3 second gap after 10 laps or so and that gap was steady. A simply case of not running in dirty air constantly, overheating the tires and engine when it's not needed.

This very thread makes my point the OP started it as a compliment to LH
But people like yourself can't help but pile on the negatives.Since this is suppose
to be a positive thread about LH YOU NEED TO STAY AWAY

OP was obviously confusing things when creating this thread. I think this has been pointed out by literally everyone.

There is nothing positive or negative here. He executed a team order that affected both drivers. Its business. I could care less how great it was for either Bottas or LH. Its a team order. They are employee's. Its beyond ridiculous to think otherwise about this action.

So you judge who is allowed to post in a thread and who not? It is getting better and better [emoji1]
So one opens a thread to praise LH for nothing and critics are not allowed to post because they might spoil the Party. ...Let me guess: at the end you actually believe it is true because everybody agreed (as no other opinions were allowed). Are you the new spokesman of a very prominent address in DC? With this approach you certainly qualify for that [emoji6]

At the last race of the season in Abu Dhabi last year, Hamilton gave his word to Rosberg that if he (Hamilton) was leading the race, he wouldn't start playing silly games trying to back his team-mate up into rival drivers, and said that instead, he would simply go for the race win, and leave Rosberg to run his own race.

I seem to recall him saying something along the lines of: I'd rather just race off into the distance and finish with the race win than win the Championship by playing games with other drivers!"

Come the race what did he do?

So Hamilton does have previous for not keeping his word! ;)
