I have to confess, I'm a self-loathing Ferrari owner. I've never posted a pic of mine on FB. There's family members I haven't told about it, as well as friends and co-workers. I'm too caught up in the stigma of being seen as dooshy and unapproachable, that it's like a mistress for me. Perhaps someday I'll be comfortable enough in my own skin to "come out" with her.

 

Very well done video! I enjoyed it; it captures much of the essence of ownership.

Nice rosso corsa 360 in the video, it was like watching mine.

Maybe it was the music because at the end of this video, I felt like bursting into tears!

Just like Mr Canuck mentions, I have yet to tell my friends and some family members (incl parents), about the Ferrari in my garage...
Where I live it's too much of a statement having one of these cars.

I'm glad i'm not the only one to keep it quiet about my Ferrari . I too did not want to seem like an ass when people hear that I have a Ferarri . I remember back in the day , when I did my first rally with my old G35 , there was a group of guys that did the rally at the same time . They had all the "rich people's" cars....Ferraris , Lambos , ZR1s and they called themselves team "filthy rich" . I remember thinking in my head that they were such jerks and that if I ever had enough money to get one of these cars , I would never be like that . Now that I have the car , I am not the jerk but I catch myself felling like others think I am .

I figured I'd just own it and start wearing pastel polo shirts with popped collars since I'm officially a dooshbag with a Ferrari now. I can't wear the ones in the starter set that comes with the car, because being Italian they're too small for me and of course I need to keep them immaculate for resale.

 

Captures ownership completely,I try and keep humbleness alongside me, people see you differently once you mention you own a Ferrari, I almost feel guilty sometimes, maybe I mix it with the wrong crowd.
But lifetime dream for me also and I absolutely love my 360 spider, nice video, thankyou

 

Same for me, just a few close friends and close family know about my Ferrari. Good tot know there aan quiet a lot people here with the same "problem"

In fact it is stupid, a new Volvo XC90 here is more expensive as my Ferrari and nobody will talk about you having such an expensive Volvo.

Thanks for the very enjoyable video, but did I see the startup of the Modena prior to the "check" light going out. Thought that was a no-no?

I also avoided mentioning it but it was always people around me who brought it up.

I am among you fellows that are still very quiet about my Ferrari in the garage. My neighbors know about it but not some of my close friends! I am thankful there are others like me.

 

As a transplanted New Yorker living in SW Florida, its good to hear that NY/NJ accent again!

I stay quiet about mine and i dont wear ferrari shirts and hats. But with that said i drive almost whenever and wherever i want,,,screw it

 

I cant tell you the number of kids that have sat in my cars!!! ( at ice-cream places mostly)
when i tell them go ahead and start her up !! there like Whattttttttttttttt OMG!!

Great video! Sharing the Ferrari experience with others is one of the best parts of ownership.

That was a great video. I too got the bug with Magnum P.I. and had to have a red/tan 308 back in the mid 80's. The bug never left and I'm still driving a Ferrari today.
Where did you get the Scuderia shield that is in your garage floor? I need one of those.
