Did my part to represent the marque at the Arboredum in Barrington. Fantastic turnout of about 500 cars, but the absolute showstopper had to be the Rezvani Beast, reportedly one of five currently in the US. Owner quoted 500hp, 1,650lbs for this build. Yes and street legal. Makes you wonder why the larger car manufactures can't produce anything under 2000 lbs. Weather looks not as good today. I would not be surprised to see a few peeks of sunshine this afternoon.
Rather slow year at the Milwaukee Concours. Now we know why they did not publish the displayed car list!!! Still a few good ones including a Bugatti, several vintage Indy and a very nice Alfa Romeo long wheel base 2.3, maybe the most expensive car on the lawn. I thought the show was pretty good - however this is what I would rate as my first true concours. I brought some non-car people and they loved it! Is the Ronald McDonald car show happening this year? I went to the website and didn't see it listed as an event.
Glad you had fun. It was down a little this year with only 1 vintage Ferrari. I hope Geneva is good again this year. That event is also free and set in a lovely little town. For October 28th nothing, but Fuelfed has the Winnetka event on Sunday October 29th from 9AM-11AM. That event is very nice and every month with some rare cars always showing up.
Fuelfed events in Hinsdale..... Big Fuelfed Ferrari show is on September 24th. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Thanks, but bright sun makes everything look better. Here are 2 sets of before and after pictures. These are the two 488 Challenge cars that came in at Continental a few weeks ago fresh from the factory and how they look today. And here is the new 488 Challenge being run from LFSC's. Great to have 2 big local Ferrari dealers supporting this event. Image Unavailable, Please Login
So true. Plus close access and you have a good picture. Regardless, I appreciate your efforts to keep us posted on the scene. Tks much!
Is the 288 GTO EVO a Chicago car? I wasn't planning on going to the races today but seeing that there might be worth the drive!!
Minnesota Collector but taken care off by Continental so it's often around. I have seen it 4 times since it landed in the Midwest.
Ah! Thanks for the heads up! I have yet to visit Continental but looks like I will have to get there sometime soon!
This coming Sunday is the Geneva Concours...... Always a lot of sportscars on display including many Ferrari's. Feature Marque page of the GCdE 2017 Image Unavailable, Please Login
Geneva Concours is always a great event and the weather so far looks great. The Fuelfed events have always been good but I assume most would head over to Geneva.
