My boxer is a very very early one 17535 and was stripped when got it. It was Ferrari UK's demo car and had burlap seats. I have paperwork between the first owner and Ferrari about the poor quality of the seat and he insisted that if they deteriorated after he took ownership that they be replaced by the factory for leather. They did deteriorate and they were sent back to Italy and retrimmed in leather. The picture is all that is left but I will trim the seats in burlap when the time comes to keep it original as long as some can be found, and that is causing a problem at the moment !

This is how they are at the moment, ended up black at some time in the 80's, probably to match to purple paint job ! But you can see the one piece seat construction.

That type of seat material was later used on the Mondial 8 and the 1980-1982 308 models. Ferrari calls it "Hessian material" and the part number was 364700085.
