And the Jag rounded to give a slimmer illusion (if not actually so?).

Interesting Peter Brock thicker-sides take via Bruce ...

    I like the Z8, a lot.
Very clean, straightforward design, nothing goofy.
Looks like one person did it, in that the front, side, rear are in harmony

Arggg, I hate designers who consider themselves frustrated artists. One dirty little secret about Frank Lloyd Wright is his houses were pieces of crap. Plus, because he was short, he used short plate heights. Artists don't care what anyone else thinks. It's their art. Designers better care what people think.

PS One of the first things you learn as a homebuilder is to forget about what you like. All that matters is what customers like.

No way! That air dam reminds me of when my dog sticks out his tongue.

Otherwise, the rear and sides are tasteful.

Interesting to see the BMW dog bone glued to the front of a wayward Lamborghini...

not designed for the "me" "me" "me" generation as it actually has room for two.

Nice views, thanks! The same designer did the 8 series to? The front looks ambitious but rather fragile. Not something you would want to park by ear with...

OK, my opinion (like *******s; everyone has one....;-):

busy busy busy! is that a running board/step on the door, like my F350 dually?
do we really need brake cooling ducts this big on a 4 cyl street car???????
and the front spoiler lip? puhleeeezz! this car will never go fast enough to need this much aero!

I agree with Jerry; why not just share the tooling betw Lexus & BMW, among others....

Last comment: at least I'm saving beaucoup $$$$; I have no desire to own any of these things!

    ....sigh....

I think they are on this project, but still different body stampings.

Funny how people think Lexus has great styling(this Z4 looks Lexus/Toyota). I was up at Road America for the IMSA race 2 weeks ago and several women were jumping in my way to get a picture of this thing. Never saw that before ever. Women in general could care less about sportscar racing, but this car brought them out :) 2 of them said they had Lexus SUV's.
