It kind of reminds me of Bertone efforts of the past but not too crazy. I like the design and it's silver! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
honestly... to me... it looks like a kit car. It looks like a bad bad kit car. If you were told that car had a chevy ls3 and it was 300k and they will build it for you in 6 months you would laugh your ass off at how cheesy it looks.
This looks like the exaggerated studio sketch of a car instead of what becomes a car. I don't understand why they bothered to make this this way.
Now THESE are design drawings - awesome, thanks so much for posting! I can't help wondering, is there anyone left these days who would even know how to think through these concepts of fitting common components into different version?
Ken doesn't do normal. So, who in your opinion has a super looking new automobile design these days? Give us some insight...
And it comes with its own spare parts kit too!!! what will they think of next? Replacement shocks, an electric screwdriver, assorted flashlights, spare bulbs, all packed in a pair of 'bespoke' LV wheelie bags.... No reason why MB can't have some Phantom excess...... Image Unavailable, Please Login
I can't believe Im saying it buy I think that new LC coupe is actually gorgeous. I think its better looking than a mercedes Cl... just saying that makes me want to throw up in my mouth a little bit... but its true. That thing actually has style Also, its nice that lexus is no longer a water downed version of a Mercedes. hell at least they are trying... While Audis are nice looking cars... I feel like the design department was like "we perfected design in 2005" and has been phoning it in ever since
Thanks to Jack-the-lad for posting this article in the Silver section. I think it applies to all we're talking about in the design thread recently: Kidston - Features I included my highlights: Some of the thoughts that spring forward: 'Nothing about aesthetics is very simple' 'Good design is the extraordinary thing done extraordinarily well' 'Nothing here need be added, nor taken away, to make it perfect' 'The best is always simple, but the simple is not always the best'
...becoming more difficult to be an Audi fanboi... Even the upcoming Q8 is joining the exaggerated-grille-brake cooling-duct 'trend', and it's a freakin' SUV/crossover/thingy...Doubt you will ever see one exceed 90mph, so why the concern over 'cooling'? Could it be form over function? perish the thought....... Image Unavailable, Please Login
The brake cooling duct 'trend' jumped the shark some time ago.........things have become almost silly on some designs Some look like they're ready to injest small children and dogs
