Prices softening...will be interesting to see how Monterey auctions set the market tone Sent from my 16M
I might be wrong, but those door panels concern me. I dont think speakers came in the doors until the 16M, meaning they cut the CF panels to fit those, ouch. I have an 09 10k Scud Id sell for less than that if I knew it was going to the right home.
CS prices appear to have fallen more than Scud prices but they also jumped up more in the run up that seams to have peaked end of 2015 begining of 2016.
Agree with this in the overall supercar market. CGT has followed a similar trend. Peak end 2015 and a correction 10-20% last couple of years. Sent from my 16M
I have not even entered the radio code in 3 battery changes in my 2008 Scud - the radio to me is a complete duh
I really don't understand the logic behind the pricing at this dealership. 2008 Black 6k mi - 270k 2009 Yellow 2k mi - 260k WTF? 2009 Red (most desireable color of the three) 10k mi - $210k I dont see anyone in the right mind buying the other 2 over the red one, even with the modified carbon panels. You can always purchase another set on the used market.
Hey guys, I need some opinions. Flying out to the east coast to see a well specd 2009 this week. Under 10k miles, red, very very clean. Minimal hazing in the cf. clear as glass headlights and the clutch and brake life are very high. Its 215k. Theres another local 09 with about 17k miles. Not the color I want (yellow) clean body and interior. Some yellowed carbon and slight haze on the headlights. Brought them down to 175k. Is it worth the extra 40k for almost half the miles, red and better carbon? Would I see much maintenance cost on the 175k car? I really have my heart set on the red and just want some opinions. The red is exactlly how Id spec it. Its my ideal car. Shipping would set me back an extra 1600.
Depends on what you want to do with the car - drive or resell. From a maintenance perspective one could argue that the 17k car would be "easier" to maintain than the 10k car assuming both cars were properly maintained. If you're going to really drive and enjoy the car and don't want to worry too much about depreciation then get the yellow one. If it's not so much about the money as it is about YOLO then get the red one because if you got the yellow one you'll always be thinking about the red one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Very sound advice. That's what I'm thinking. I'll always wish I had gotten the perfect (for me) car. 'll stick to the red. Put a deposit down, flying out Thursday to get my eyes on it in person. Cant Wait!

Thanks guys. Took a while to find the right one and spent 15 more but shes perfect. Almost. Missing the fire extinguisher. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
NICE ONE! Forget the fire extinguisher....just more weight. I have that option on my car...I never understood paying all that money for a lighter car, then PAY $750 to add 8lbs back.
