August lunch/drive is coming up on the 25th. Confirming the location. May be Jonathan Club. If so, we will need to have an accurate count for those attending. If not we can select somewhere else. There is a chance that I may have to go out of town next week but I'll put myself down for now.

Evan (epozarny) has graciously invited us to the Jonathan Club on the beach in Santa Monica for our August 25th lunch. As this is a private club, please note that there will be some changes for this lunch only. The meet up is the normal location on San Vicente in Brentwood (2 blocks west of Bundy) HOWEVER the meet up time for this lunch is 12:30. Please note that it is an hour later than usual. ALSO, this lunch is CASH ONLY, no credit cards. Plan on $20 -$25 per person.

The drive will be shorter this time due to the closer location. We will do something up along Sunset and then PCH to the Club. Lunch is scheduled for 1:00. If you can't make the drive and want to meet at the Club, there will be parking reserved for us.

We did this location last year and it is a great venue. Thanks Evan for the invite.

Mike:

When you last went, we simply met at the restaurant. Since then it has evolved more into a drive and lunch, usually in the Malibu area. This time it will be closer in at the Jonathan Club in Santa Monica.

The drive meet up is in Brentwood on San Vicente Boulevard, 2 blocks west of Bundy. We meet along the side of the road across from the Country Club and then head out from there. Next Friday we plan to meet at 12:30 and to leave by no later than 12:35 for a short drive along Sunset and PCH before lunch. If you are unable to make the drive portion, you can simply meet at the Jonathan Club at 1:00. There will be reserve parking for our group. The club is along PCH directly across the highway from the California Incline.

Is you are not planning to meet up for the drive portion and plan to go directly to the Jonathan Club, please let us know as we don't want to be waiting for someone who isn't going to be there.
