I'm sure he's lobbying the hardest to bring some kind of 1 cylinder generator powering electric drivetrain. "Jean Todt, destroyer of F1" will be what he'll be known for, not his great managing of Rally and F1 teams.
Great.....Wonderful!! Whats next.....I-robot marshals and clean-up crews???? Or maybe lets put IBM's Watson in charge of regulating on track penalties and doing away with Charlie and the inconsistencies of the stewards???? ......LOL...........what a minute.....that could happen. Crap!!!
Possible inclement weather for Friday and Saturday. Also tyre pressures are up Front: 23.5 PSI Rear: 21.5 PSI Image Unavailable, Please Login
Weather seems typical for that region. Unpredictable at best on occasion Id prefer a dry race for Spa....
william - By now you must know I must do what I do...it's genetic...'can't help it... Having been advised that I don't read "good" , and accepting that premise, I need some help in reading well. When did BJ state or imply that Todt was going to do so? I only read BJ's desire for NA ICE, as do I. 'Not counting on, or thinking, it will happen; 'just the wishful thinking that it could/would be so. Again, just the post #(s) will do. Sincerely thanking you in advance. At last, the wait is almost over. Thank goodness for that. Hope for rain at Spa. In a dry race, this one will be a Mere walkover. They have the power and the faster car, plus there are plenty of over taking opportunities where the Merc's inability to follow close behind in turbulent air will not be a problem.
Same here! Unless Ferrari found something really exceptional in their box of Pandora, during the summer break, it's gonna be very tough against Elton and Co. Rain or a real bad start of Elton Will do some extra pepper in the Belgian soup. Hopefully Max is fighting Elton .....behind Seb.
We'll know in approx. 4 days , 21 1/2 hours. Let's go Merc!!! Let's go Merc!!! (hands and arms over head and face... )
With Kimi signed up again for 2018 ,we can assume he will be riding shotgun for Vettel for the rest of this season,as part of the deal. RBR are usually very good developing the car during the season,so maybe they can bring something extra to Spa.In any case we can expect some exciting stuff from Maxie.
...once again, he is not French; he is Swiss. He actually has both nationalities, but as he is not winning, he can't be French. He will be considered as French only if he wins a Grand Prix someday (which doesn't seem probable for the time being). Rgds
And this was said only as half-a-joke: he was born in Geneva, to a swiss father and a swiss-french mother, so he is, at least by birth, and for what this is worth, more swiss than french. But he is racing with a french licence. Rgds
I suppose he lives in Switzerland ,or Monaco for tax purposes.i wonder how much longer he can hang on to a F1 seat.
Haas seems satisfied with Grosjean, but I think his ambition to drive for Ferrari one day is just pie in the sky. And I don't think Renault would want him back either.
He still lives in Geneva, where he was born. His "French" side actually only comes from having benefitted from the support of Renault and the FFSA, but he is indeed more swiss than french. As he has shown in the past, he can be very quick, but his career seems to be in a dead-end street to me, unless he is there only for the money. I can't see Ferrari chosing him to replace Kimi at the end of 2018. That is, if Kimi retires...imagine that Vettel only signs for one year and then leaves at the end of the 2018 season, so Kimi will be needed one more year for continuity...Ha! Rgds
Ha Kimi gets another year ! Anyhow Romain has had a good go at F1 not to mention the lower formula's,just shows that success in in Gp2 ,F3 etc does not mean you can mix it at the very top in F1.Of course you need to get into a top car to have have any chance to shine nowadays... Why would Ferrari choose him when there will most likely be a lot of serious talent available in 2019?
