I would be amazed if this car is not the start of a range rather than as a stand alone model. A very easy way to get the numbers up with minimal cost.

I think it's a great looking car and I remember being told by a friend of mine they had seen what looked a bit like an F12 Spyder a couple of years ago as a clay buck mock up, and this might well have been it sprinkled with a bit of 812.

To my eye, nearly all the worst features of the old Cali have been dealt with and you can guarantee that in engineering terms, it will move the game on substantially, more power, new chassis, more electronics, lighter. Simple fact is they are at the top of their game and having learnt with the Cali and T, this will be a proper Ferrari.

Unlike the contentious aesthetics of the 812, this is far easier on the eye with no contentious areas, like the 812 bum, and I find little to complain about. Some say it looks like a refreshed Cali but if you want a front engined 2+2 convertible with hard top and a boot, you sort of paint yourself into a corner. Now if only there was an N/A under the bonnet (hood) then it would be a slam dunk, but you can guarantee that when it comes to more power, in a couple of years time, rather than go backwards, it will inevitably go hybrid especially as more and more cities legislate to reduce city centre pollution, and for an everyday car, this has to have it.

I cannot see this being anything other than another huge hit for Ferrari especially as the price is effectively unchanged. I look forward to the 7th and seeing it in the flesh, but if it looks this good in the traditionally poor renderings, it can only get better.

Made it ultra-exclusive by limiting admission to very small numbers and charging $895/person. This required them turning away the larger number of Ferrari owners who did not have their $895 credentials, whilst the same owners were welcomed to equally expensive quarters and perks at Bentley, McLaren, etc. - for free.

The display on the greens at the first hole at Pebble (very closeby) was, however, very good, and open to the public.

As a multiple Ferrari owner I hadn't even heard about it until I saw it. It looked nice from the outside looking in. 😏

Definitely, I am 6'3 and need to squeeze up to fit my 5 yr old behind me. That's why the lusso is coming and I want to see just how much "extra" room they really made back there. Our FF was the perfect Ferrari for the family and looking forward to the next 2+2 V12.

Has anyone seen a straight-on picture of the rear? Cowgirl likes the aggressive design language but wants to know "what his ass looks like." Good question. We can't find a straight on rear shot. Just angles. This is an important question since our 550 is most often seen from the rear...:)

No discussion about how many milliseconds the Portofino will be faster than its predecessor Cali T or, even better, a McLaren 570Spider.

I agree and I'm afraid at present I don't understand those that are disappointed with the aesthetics.
