If anyone is interested, I am selling Rocky's 89' Mondial T coupe for him. Sadly, he passed away recently before seeing the car completed. It is now available, and from what Rocky told me, it was the first one that came into North America out of the 43, so it may be a significant car. I will put it on Ebay later today, with pictures and all I know about the car. If I didn't already have a Mondial I would buy it in a heartbeat.
Looks like I just missed out on the 1987 Ferrari Mondial 3.2 Coupe in NorCal, with Stephane getting to it first. Congrats on an excellent buy, and I hope it finds a great home in Las Vegas! Anyone know any other 3.2 coupes for sale? Been thinking coupe only since I am in Seattle. I'm starting to think I might have to consider the convertible. Anyone live with the convertible in a rainy weather part of the country?
Convertibles leak. There are two coupes for sale on the same page in this same thread?? And more to come. Wait 6 months.
I have an 86 3.2 Cabriolet. I live in Northern California, where the weather is generally very nice. When weather is good, I drive it to work 3 or 4 times a week. I love it. But my car will never see rain.
My QV leaks. Our old 325i leaked. Our 2000 Z3 leaks. Our 1994 Corvette with new seals leaks. If we think we may have rain we take a roll of paper towels.
Anyone here who knows about a Valeo Cabrio that might be for sale? Preferably in EUROPE / EU version. Any hint would be welcome (PM), thanks!
You didn't owned it long enough to know. I can tell you driving it for two years and many times in heavy rain that she was leaking.
After I replaced the seal at the top of the windshield my 1987 3.2 has been water tight. I drove it cross country where it had many nights outdoors in rain and driving through numerous rain storms and snow. Before I replaced the seal I kept towels in the car and it was a drag. My original seal was hard and folded in an awkward way.
LOL. Not that one Claude!! It was a red/tan one, not Sera blue, which by the way, I never took out in the rain.
Oh! Sorry, first time I found Sera was leaking was in a touchless carwash after a long drive (450 miles) to a car show in Montreal. I thought I was in my shower. By chance I had large towels with me. What a mess. But I'd buy another mondial cab anytime, I loved it after a few months.
Hi Alex, If driving intothe setting sun,the white dashwould be reflected in the inner surfaceof thwindscreen, blinding the driveri.Try it. put some sheets of paper on the top of your dash. You'll get my drift immediately. Cheers, Hank
