    new max file size will be 5mb, but will resize to 800 px, so probably not much different than what we have now.

    It should work differently though because we use to resize the native file to 800 pixels, I think maybe going forward we keep the original sized file and just show a 800 pixel thumbnail of it. Not 100% sure how that works though.

    I think that depends on how you post it. If you post the thumbnail, you might get a larger uploadable image. But, if you post the full image, it resizes.

    Lemme go mess around and see what happens. :D

    Resizes them either way as a thumbnail or as an uploaded image. I uploaded a 1.5MB file and posted as a thumbnail and as a full image, both resized to 144K.

    we won't have thumbnails, except 800 pixel versions that look inline like current, was hoping you could click on it for high resolution.

    we hired Audentio, they did the MacRumors forum which is 3-4x the size of FerrariChat. we have been testing the move and conversion for about 6 weeks. sure we missed something, but hopefully nothing big.
