After nine years I am letting go of my 308. Car has been mechanically rock solid throughout and well cared for.

The interior is Crema and original, which is to say it is old and looking worn. Frankly, it is the weakest element to the car at this point. I have been torn between originality and replacing the skins. Decided to leave that decision to the next owner.

I bought her in 2010 from Steve Barney at Sport Auto. Records indicate I am the 4th owner. Odometer read 32,880 at that time. Today it has 46,150 on the clock, so I put over 13,000 delightful miles on her over 7 years.

I have invested about $20k in her during my ownership and have service records that go back 20 years. Terry Meeler (Exotic Coach Specialists in Raleigh) has taken care of her and did the last major belt service at 43,794 miles. In addition to the belt service we did:
    - leak down test (all good)
    - Repainted air cleaner cover
    - Removed US exhaust air injection system (car is now closer to a European model)
    - Replace shift shaft seal
    - Replace motor mounts
    - Replace steering rack assembly
    - Replaced worn heater hoses throughout

In addition to the above major service over the past seven years I have done many things to return the car to its original greatness and/or move her closer to the cleaner European look. Examples:
    - Replaced worn exhaust with Nouvalari exhaust (quiet at cruise but very throaty on acceleration)
    -Cleaned, roddled, and repainted radiator
    -Converted AC to R134 system
    -Replaced worn spark plug wires
-Replaced dull lights with Daniel Stern lighting system (headlamp upgrade but original look)
-Replaced heavy US bumpers with European style bumpers and grill
-Replace fuse box with Birdman's upgrade

The car has the upgraded factory wheels (not metric.) The car has been rock solid during my ownership, having never left me stranded. I have taken her to the mountains, to Pinehurst, and all around on day trips. Lots of fun!

I will post more photos when I have time and the weather cooperates.

Lots of interest from the site, so thank you. There is something rare and beautiful about a non-red Ferrari (though I do love red.)

    Price is $63,750.

I will post more photos late this weekend provided the rain is gone. Till then, here is a photo from a prior Ferrari Club trip to the mountains:

A very nice 308, a great color, and a very fair price. I am wagering she shall be sold quickly.

One of the best color combos. I know someone is SoCal with the exact same colors but in a 328.

I will get more photos up this weekend and will keep my eye on things here hoping it will find a home with a fellow Fchatter. If I don't get the response I am looking for in a week or so I will be placing it on BringATrailer as well as a few other logical sites. Thanks for the comments and encouragement.

I just felt the US bumpers took away from the flowing lines of the car, so swapped for Euro (I still have the heavy US units which will go with the car.) I added the Euro grill and badge at that time as well.
Also, I had the front hood repainted due to a repaired dent from the hood latch. When we did that I had them paint the front louvers to match again similar to Euro models. Personal taste, but I like it better than the black US louvers.
Finally, the engine deck louvers were looking worn so I had them powder coated.
Overall, I think it is one of the classic beauties from the Ferrari line; certainly not as majestic as an old 250, but beautiful nonetheless.

Love the color, very unusual. Since I'm partial to GTBs (see my WTB: 308GTB) I wonder if one could paint the removable targa roof panel so that it matched the rest of the car and thus not breaking up the beautiful roof line. Has it been done successfully so that the paint endures and does not crack or chip since it's fiberglass I believe?

I have seen it done a few years ago. You may want to search the 308/328 threads for examples. Hope that helps.
I love the GTB's as well.

Beautiful car, and the pride of ownership shoes in the tasteful updates and extensive records.

One thing I didn't see mentioned but was curious about is when/if the clutch had been done on the car.

    Thanks much.

Clutch was inspected during recent major service and was deemed to be fine. I have noticed no issues when driving since then as well. (Although like all 308's, 2nd gear is difficult until the oil warms up. I skip second for the first 10 miles or so and then everything is sharp.)
