I can't independently confirm it, but I am told the 729 km GTO sold yesterday @ Maranello for $3,800,000!
RM SOTHEBY'S Sunday, September 10, 2017 1985 Ferrari 288 GTO SOLD $3,879,720 USD EXTERIOR Rosso Corsa INTERIOR Nero ODOMETER 729 km ZFFPA16B000057709
I guess it depends of the exchange rate one uses. It sold for €3,263,000 all-in including Buyer's Premium. So at the current rate of €1.00=$1.1966, this equates to $3,904,450.

Your GTO looks wonderful, it appears the judges agree. Congrats! No small accomplishment with the journey this GTO took to be at Fiorano...
Thanks for sharing. It looks stunning. I assume from your last post that your car was recently restored my Classiche and Zanasi in Maranello? Would love to see more photos of the interior and exterior of the car.
Congratulations Jacques, another award-winning GTO supplied by Joe Sackey Classics LLC, clearly in great hands!
