Bernd was not a personal friend, i only meet him two times at the OGP but he was a real petrolhead, very friendly and real enrichment to the race-, car- and oldiescene and he will be greatly missed!
Yes, repainted! Original seats he kept in his storage! The tan leather bucket seats were Recaro Pole Position! Here is a clip from him and his F40 and his other cars:
