I think I get 50 posts per page ?
Did someone mention a " back to the top button"

 

Rob, my signature line shows up....even though I'm not Rossa. did that perk change, or is there a permissions problem?

no, I´m on a laptop ... and don`t see the options on the new style either ...

I do see them on the old style, though

I actually like the red. Based on the comments against red, I may be one of the few users that used the red skin choice on the old vBulletin Fchat.

How to delete private messages? My inbox is almost full

 

go to "conversations" (top right on screen, click your user id, then select conversations) click the specific conversation you want to delete, you'll get a drop down with a choice, "other action," click the down arrow, select "leave conversation" and it'll delete it. If you check off multiple "conversations" then it'll delete multiple conversations.

I had a feeling that was it. Now, this is a criticism for the company that designed the software........it's really just plain stupid to change the name of something for no other reason than to be different. Delete is delete. Nope, no good, now it's "leave conversation". PM = Private message. Nope, that makes too much sense, let's call it "conversations"

These are the things that are just foolish.

Have the message/conversation number limits changed? Where is the indicator for the number of messages you have in order to know when to delete so inbox not full?

 

After having used the new forum for a few days - I think the navigation sucks donkeys balls. Two primary problems for me:
1) There is no back to parent forum link at the end of the page (already in the to-do I believe). This need to be added asap.
2) There is no "watched" page which combines both posts and forums - the old forum had this. Was always my bookmark page. Now you have to go to one - mouse over the menu - find the link - click to see the other. This is very annoying, as you now can't have a forum overview and at the same time see if there's any new posts in threads you're watching. Grrrr......
The navigation really need to be looked at. It takes more clicks to navigate the site now.

 

Rob, would it be possible have the option of 100 posts/page? Better would be user configurable, as some like a lot of posts/page, and some want fewer.

 

Rob and Jack are working on more options for this. I suspect it's not #1 on their list, with the other issues they are debugging, but I know they're checking to see what options are available.

Don't hold me to this, but I don't think there is a limit. Conversations are basically private threads now.

OK, one more request- not a bug, so I'm sure this will be low on the priority list, but:

Thread preview when you hover a mouse over the thread. Works with "normal" computers, but if you have a laptop with a touch screen, the software assumes it is a tablet and disables the thread preview. I notice that some forums still let you have thread preview on a touchscreen laptop (but they may be vbulletin). It would be a really nice to have feature for those of us that regularly use a touchscreen laptop to view Fchat.

Can't recall what the referenced problem was, but their response became its own joke on the Audi forums.

 

Old theme just had side bar pushed to bottom - good job guys. Now just add a setting to remove it all together
