I have a 458, and several other toys. For daily use I drive a 997.1 turbo with a tiptronic. My wife daily drives a Cayenne S. The 997 turbo tip has a bad reputation as not being as good as the stick or the later PDK, however I choose it for several reasons: first it's the smoothest transmission in traffic, second its bullet proof reliable, third it's an incredible value. Since I already have a 458 and have the dual clutch in that I'm not missing anything with the tip in my daily. I now have about 100,000 miles on my 997 and it feels like a new car still. Another plus is my wife and I can trade if I need an SUV that day. The Cayenne is a very nice daily too, but I prefer my 997. The size of it is perfect. It's a ton of fun to drive.

My DD is a BMW 750xi. I average 22mpg in the city and while driving Indy to Chicago round trip, 31.5 mpg!

My 911Turbo is great daily driver. I agree with the SL63 also. But if you need space and have to deal with snow, you can't beat a S550. There is room for 5 people and a large trunk. Plus they can be had reasonably with 2 or 3 years pre-owned.

I like the SUV for a different ride and feel. Love my Black Cayenne turbo S with rossa red interior. Tons of CF. Combines sporty with SUV feel In maryland , nice to have it for the winter time..

Dodge Charger Hellcat as DD. Nothing like taking the Red Key every morning to work with 707 HP at your disposal. Never a dull moment!

The best daily driver: LUSSO GTC4

Fast, great handling, comfortable, V12, four seater, all wheel drive, four wheel steering (great in tight places) and a Ferrari. It's a pleasure to drive this wonderful car everyday, it's a very livable daily driver.

My daily driver - BMW M5 Competition Package - super cool, quick and understated.

If its sunny ( not often here in the UK!!) 2017 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet - PDK/Sports Chrono and sports exhaust.

If its snowing - VW Amarok Pickup.

    Best of all worlds.

Have used my 2017 Camaro ZL1 as a daily for the past 3 months. Really like it! Had been using the 991 turbo S as a daily, and it is much less eventful/fun than the zl1 imo so to the garage it went. Interested to try a lusso however.

My dd right now is a BMW 750 (new generation) Very nice car. Great room and comfort for all. As I am constantly taking kids places, the back seats and doors are very useful. Great tech. Its not a substitute for something that's really engaging, but as a luxo barge, its a very nice ride. One day, when my kids are driving themselves, I would be seriously tempted by the GTC4.

I daily drive 991 gt3. Not a great dd but I can't seem to part with it. 458 not going anywhere either. Don't have garage space for another car. If I did it wouldn't be an Audi s3.

    I daily drive a 2016 AMG C63S sedan.
Still super practical, but still tons of fun.

No point in getting the same type of car for DD as a 458!

My garage has a 458 and Cayenne Turbo S. (before that is was R8 v10 and ML63)

I feel they compliment each other very well, plus need to make sure garage has over 1000+ HP otherwise is it bad luck!!;)

I did a ton of research when looking for a daily driver and ended up with a 14' Porsche 991 TTS CPO. It's easy to get in and out of, the build quality is first rate, it's incredibly reliable and it's quiet and smooth on the highway. The turbo's have always been the grand tourer's of the 911 line up and it's uncanny ability to lay down almost 600hp, all of the time, is amazing. My 488 seems to always struggle for traction regardless of tire/road temp. Floor a TTS from a stop or use launch control and you'll be astounded at how it glues itself to any and all pavement types and temps.

Just picked up a Macan GTS for my daily driver. Size is perfect for Hawaii and I can make a Costco run in it (something I couldn't do with my Porsche Turbo).

Lots of my friends have macans. It drives great but I felt that the backseats were too narrow to fit three people. What do you think?
