    I guess I wouldn't say no. The 458 tails look like 1st gen LED. I looked into this, looking into how they are mounted and they are significantly different. When I do mods like this, I only do it if there's no permanent modification to the chassis. In this case, I think you would have to. Additionally, I haven't had the 488 light in front of me to measure dimensions which may be another issue.
