Yes, but a wink and a nod and that one chassis can easily be three or four. IOW, the piper story fits perfectly...it just stops before the end... JG's entire story must be twisted and contorted to fit any reality.
Anyone seen the "news" by JG? http://p45c.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/DaytonaP340846p.pdf Thoughts?
More twisting of the facts to suit his fantasy. Just like this fantasy in post #8417. "During the period of May-July 2016 Ferrari investigated P4 0846 and confirmed that I have owned Ferrari P4 0846 since 2000 and that the car is presently in my possession. They also created dispositive documents reflecting that fact... In several months I will publish Ferrari's written statements and the dispositive documents they created and additional information..." Still waiting for these dispositive documents..... Nathan
It it me, or are posts disappearing from this thread shortly after they are posted? A post from Steve was deleted a couple of days ago, now a post from a couple of minutes ago (referencing a JG Facebook post) was just deleted. PS: I know it's not me.
My one with the FB link disappeared because I as OP deleted it as I changed my mind as I decided it was not correct. Nothing suspicious
Thanks for the info and apologies for drawing attention to it with my post. On the old Fchat, it would leave a note when posters deleted their own posts, but I guess maybe that is different on the new server (or maybe it allows a silent delete within a certain time window after posting). I didn't say anything when I saw the post deleted a couple days ago, but the second occurrence made me think it was a moderator deleting. That prior post may have also been a self-delete.
So this is supposed to be the ultimate proof now? And now we have the story of the front being modified after it has been contested. I guess I am just a little perplexed on how everything keeps shape shifting
Also the front being modified for new larger wheels doesn't even make a whole lot of sense. Without having one in person obviously I cant say definitively but it seems as though we are painting with a large brush and grasping at straws simultaneously
It doesn't even look like anything lines up in the photos he provided. I think there has been some artistic license given to the angles of the photos. I don't think any of this lines up to me. Espcially when looking at photos jim provided a year or so ago. I don't see how any of this can line up with his car personally
Hi everyone, I just wanted to show this nice new canvas I received from Jay Koka, clearly labeled "0846".... Image Unavailable, Please Login
But then, thinking it over, you see I ordered THIS copy number,....in case Muira SV is deemed correct!! Ya'll give Jay a call, as I don't think the Limited Series of 20 is yet Sold Out!! But, Image Unavailable, Please Login he did not paint Piper #003
New office New painting I picture you sitting there enjoying a nice glass of kool-aid while observing your new found purchase for some reason
Not sure if this is new news or not from Facebook Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus 10 November at 18:32 · I am very preased to report that that after several inspections and a very through investigation THE FEDERATION INTERNATIONAL des VEHICULES ANCIENS (FIVA) has issued a FIVA IDENTITY CARD to our 1967 Ferrari P 3/4 Chassis 0846
https://www.hagerty.com/articles-videos/Articles/2011/06/12/Everything-you-need-to-know-about-FIVA-ID-cards Although the ID card is necessary for many events, it is intended solely for identification purposes and is by no means a guarantee of the vehicle's authenticity, nor is it to be used for commercial purposes or proof of the vehicle's history.
If this was Facebook I would answer succinctly with NOWHERE but it isn't and there are two schools of thought A - it was scrapped by Ferrari and was either melted down, sold for scrap, parted out or who the hell knows because it essentially ceased to exist OR B - it was scrapped by Ferrari, someone saved it (whatever it was) from the scrapheap, via a soap opera worthy series of coincidences got sold to a guy who knew a guy who was creating fake chassis for Piper, got imported into Switzerland, then into the UK and made its way to Jim.
