    I would LOVE an Italia with the F12 engine in it...perfection...would never need a different sports car for the rest of my life.

    So... The 458 was the test mule for the LaFerrari. I didn't know that and it's another cool fact that makes me fall in love with the 458 yet again :)

    I wonder which specific modifications they made to the 458... I'm thinking, first of all, engine bay room to fit 12+KERS instead of 8 cylinders.

    Even better would be putting the v12 into the 488 body.:)...added with kers as a back up if/when required.

    I guess so, WYSIWHG ... it is there ... and must have been used as test car.

    this car didn't have the KERS and you can see some photos of the engine bay there as well.
