Look on the top of the steering column just behind the steering wheel (as you sit in the car) there's a plate with the chassis number on it.

Only on US cars, Euro cars were never required to have this ID plate

Re-starting an old thread... almost 4 more years have passed by.
I bought this 246GT from the OP (I visited several times, great guy BTW).
A buddy and I flew down to NC and drove the Dino back on a U-haul trailer, it was an experience driving back to the northeast.
It's red now but was originally verde germoglio as alluded to in previous posts, can be seen under the chipped paint.
Alberto has seen it a few times tucked away in the corner of my workshop with Dino stuff stored on it, I keep walking past it and staring at the green along the edge of the chipped paint on the door...
Winter is approaching and it's time to start tearing this Dino apart and get going on restoring it, needs everything.
It came with a folder of docs, an original Wallace workshop manual with a note from Mr. Wallace and partial original toolkit.
It's a european GT Dino, I will update as things progress...

    cheers Andrew
