    I agree, BMC.
I used BMC on my 360.

I have OE paper filters currently & came with the car. I may switch to BMC, or just stay with OE paper filters for absolutely zero issue.

I'm using the K&N in my F430. Good fit and no problems

As others have mentioned and also based on my own experience:

For the (small) gain you get for going with after market engine air intake filters - its not worth it going with after market filters.

If money is no object, I vote BMC filters and instead of cleaning it and oiling it - just throw it away when it gets dirty to avoid any possible contamination of MAF sensors which often leads to hunting idle issues.

OE paper filters = zero issues.

Are the OEM filters the only ones that don't suck and whistle? I like to drive with the windows down and the K&Ns are annoying. It takes away from the exhaust noise.

As far as I know Yes.

And thats part of the reason I decided to stick with OE paper filters.

Thx. I think I will go back to OEM and just change them out every year to keep them fresh. The annoyance isn't worth the extra 0-2hp IMHO.

And, IMO, annual exchange might be overkill if you only drive it a couple thousand miles. Air filters only need changing when they become too dirty. I would think you could drive 10,000 miles before changing. But no harm in more frequently changing.
