If you have a "museum", it's not a dealership, and has tax benefits.

 

Some cars in there "appear" to be from CTS, the Merak and the Miura

 

But you actually have no idea what it's trading as or registered under, right? Maybe it's part museum part car dealer? Maybe "museum" is just a name? WTH knows....not you or me!

 

Yep, same tax dodge Clive Palmer used to park his cars at Coolum resort and also charge people entry!

 

The Russians (the government and mobsters too I think) were after him (Tony Denny) when he was a dealer (AAA Auto) back in the days of when he amassed his fortune when he lived in Europe. Wouldn't surprise me if he still practices shady business tactics.

Consumers are being warned not to deal with Clayton Bespoke Pty Ltd or its sole director, Bevin Ronald Clayton, Minister for Better Regulation Matt Kean announced today.Mr Kean said the Woolloomooloo business sells luxury vehicles on behalf of their owners, and currently has about $5 million worth of stock, including Rolls Royce Phantoms, Teslas, Porsche Boxters and a McLaren 540C.
“Consumer loss across New South Wales is estimated to be in excess of $1 million, and I won’t put up with that. I’m going to put consumers first,” Mr Kean said.
“NSW Fair Trading has received 11 complaints since May 2017, and 16 enquiries about this trader.
“Many owners did not receive payment from the business after their vehicle was sold, or if they did, the cheque bounced.
“When consumers enter into a consignment agreement, they do so in good faith and expect due payment.
“Instead, these customers have been left significantly out of pocket, and to add insult to injury, in some cases their expensive vehicle is gone too.
“This is simply not good enough, which is why I am putting consumers first and issuing this public warning.”Mr Kean said NSW Fair Trading investigators and NSW Police officers executed a search warrant earlier today at the trader’s place of business, seizing documents.“Fair Trading has suspended Bespoke Pty Ltd’s motor dealer licence, and issued a Notice to Show Cause within 21 days as to why disciplinary action should not be taken,” he said.“If consumers have consigned a vehicle with Clayton Bespoke Pty Ltd and the vehicle has not yet been sold, they should contact Kings Cross Police to arrange immediate collection.”Anyone with complaints about this trader, or who has information that may assist the investigation, should contact NSW Fair Trading on 13 32 20.

 

I understand the museum has been using a number of dealerships to sell cars on their behalf.

Tyres are overinflated for his liking

 

Time and time again we have seen dishonest luxury car dealers and workshops [ie most, but not all, did Terzini even have a LMCT?] sell a car under the owners nose and pocket the money.

The ONLY way i can think to protect yourself is keep the said vehicle under finance and on the register, that would stop any buyer doing a deal till its released, the seller can be present on the day, payout the bank, release the car and get his coin on the spot, less the selling shysters commission.

What i have seen some dealers do in AUS is way above even Arthur Daley tricks, pretty sad really, as bad as scum workshops [link in 3, 2, 1.......]
