Nice! I remember in 1975 I was driving my 280Z through Bayville and the exact car appeared in my rear view mirror. As he was behind me, he punched the gas and it sounded like a dozen m80s exploding on my rear bumper!

Wow! This is what this car was meant to look like and not the cheesiness of the 80s.

Love the LP400. It's actually like a blend between the 25th anniversary countach and the miura before it...I love those teeny little tires at the rear.

The add states driven 190 miles in the last 20 years, what a waste. I realize your you wouldn't use this as a DD but why so little use?

A fantastic car. Unlike most people who only recently lust after the LP400, since childhood this has always been THE Countach to have. I watched their prices linger around the $100K mark forever and in 2006 I passed on one for $125K when it was just that little bit too much for me to afford. 3 months later the LP400 had taken off and the same car was easily $250K and rising leaving me as a spectator perhaps forever. Perhaps a terrible car to drive but a wonderful car to look at that, with modern safety requirements , will never be equaled in sheer presence. Still a show stopper over 40 years later it must have been just out of this world when it came out. My best regards to the seller and good fortune to the eventual buyer.

The first time I saw a Countach was 1976 at Carter Chevrolet. The dealer also sold Lamborghini. I walked in the shop area and there sat a red Countach. The engine compartment was open but there was nothing there. Off to the side sat the most impress V12 motor. The size and most every thing about this Lamborghini must be seen in person to be truly appreciated. Just amazing automobiles especially in the context of the mid 1970's....

Lots of nice pictures there, GLWS!

I remember when these first came out. Still the most beautiful Countach. Unfortunately, the tire revolution of the time lead to all the cladding that ruined the original design. Had a poster of this car.

Sex on wheels! Still remember the day in 1975 when a one off Countach built for Ferrucio's friend pulled up next to me in Underground parking garage , Brickle ave, downtown Miami, owned by Casino owner in the Islands, here on temp tag, Tahiti Blue, with Gold Interior, Gold anodized engine bay, Gold wheels, STUNNING!
