I completely agree. I don't know allure of Buxton - I'm sure he's a nice guy, but I don't see a lot of knowledge there ...he's thrilled to be in the Paddock - who would not be - but just because you are there does not mean you are an expert.... and he's far from it.

I follow Joe Saward and for the most part he's usually on the money with what is happening or going to happen. But I tire of the complaining on how hard it is to be an F-1 journalist.... enough all ready. ... also his "audiences" with Joe... I think give a clue to how he see's himself... you have an Audience with the Queen of Great Britain ... you have Q&A with a journalist.... he's from the Bernie era of "we in the paddock" and Liberty is slowing changing that.

He's never been much of a Ferrari fan - and that's fine, but don't grind your axe when they don't like you back....

I remember standing next to Dennis Jenkinson in Canada in 1988. I thought who is this smelly old guy with the long beard... & why is everyone allowing him in and out of the garages??? When I found out who he was - it made sense. But he was polite, and knew a thing or two... Buxton & Saward are not him!
