It is with great sadness I have to report the loss of a very well known and wonderful modeler seen many times on these pages, Peter Wingfield. He passed away this week due to a heart attack in Florida. Please send your deepest condolences to his family.

Goodness. I was watching the BBLM thread, as I was hoping Peter would one day build one for me. Sorry for the family's loss.

I am saddened about his loss.

A really nice man, built me a GTO just last year.

    My condolences.

    Kind regards, Alberto

Sad indeed. I think I met him the 1990's. He always had rare kits. If I remember correctly I bought a Trinity 312 F1 kit in 1/24th scale from him way back then.

Not sure if it is appropriate to post the link here but Peter Wingfield's family are selling off his stock of kits to help them cover expenses incurred since his sudden passing. PM me for a link or with the permission of the mods I may post it here later. Not all the kits have been inventoried yet but there are currently no Ferrari models listed. This sale will take place prior to listing them on Ebay. I have no association with the sale in any way at all.

I just PMed you. I have corresponded with Peter over the years and just found out he passed. Unbelievable. What a terrible bit of news.
