Hi all 350 GT lovers, Last weekend I went with Kevin to the Polo Storico Concorso. This 350 GT #0105, German owned, was presented as a 350 GT Prototype wich it is obviously not. But a very early example it is! First Lamborghini that was imported into England. Originally painted white with red interior. The interior is still red and looks original. History tells that the original 3,5 liter engine was replaced by a 4 liter engine already in the very early days. I did not check the engine, but can anybody tell from the picture if this is a 3,5 or 4 liter? Silver cam covers, dip stick location? Ciao! Split front bumpers? I would have expected the one piece front bumper on an early car. How many cars came with the one piece before the switch or were both used at the same time?
oïl stick is on the driver side, so it should be a 3.5, but this is not conclusive, another detail can determine, did you make a pic of the middle of V between top engine ?
Very interesting! There is a 400 GT badge on the rear, could be just the only reason for all the 4 liter stories. I did not check the engine number, very difficult to see below the water pipe. But if that turns out to be #0105, it still is the original 3,5 liter engine.
Hi, good point! I think only the first 15 cars or so came of the production line with the one piece bumper, but all of those cars have been fitted with the split front bumpers soon afterwards.
We have a great 350 GT for sale. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/1965-lamborghini-350-gt.532536/
Thanks for sharing! This is a 350 GT with very early features, like the chrome speedo's, and the lacking of the air vents in front of the front window. Not correct are the black valve covers on the engine, an early 350 GT should have that in silver. But that's the only minor remark. One of the best looking 350 GT's on this planet for sure! Ciao!
Badge has Nothing to do... can be added afterwards... Oil stick on driver side is 3.5, but I've inspected cars with oïl pan replaced by another model, so that is no longer the rule to determine which engine, it needs another info to be sure at 100%...
350GT restored to original. It's resplendent in Grigio Medio with Tobacco interior. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Hi all 350 GT lovers, For many years I was fascinated by this famous picture of the five very early 350 GT's, pictured in front of the factory in St. Agata. It is most likely that this picture was taken on 30 October 1964, when four cars were completed: #0111 (Rosso Matador/Nero), #0115 (Azzuro Marmolada/Bleu) #0118 (Rosso Matador/Nero) #0121 (Bianco/Nero). The Grigio Argento/Rosso car has to be #0107. The 46th Salon Torino Show was the very next day, from 31 October - 11 November. Cars #0111 and #0115 were sent to the Torino Show, fitted with red/white Lamborghini badges on their noses. Check it out here: http://www.lamborghini-register.nl/lamborghini/home/v12-classici/350-400/350-gt-400-gt-internazionale All 350 GT info/corrections/pictures highly appreciated ;-) Ciao!
