it is 4.7 years since laferrari was launched.. are there any chances of seeing laferrari based one-offs or the long-rumoured light-weight other version of laferrari?

It's safe on my part to say this now but I've been skeptic of those utterly fantastic versions once a few months passed. I believe they're more than done with the normal version, the Aperta, the FXX-K and the apparently imminent FXX-K Evo.

As much as I love the LaFerrari (and I absolutely love it. It's my favorite), I think they should be done with any additional variations of it. It's time to look forward to next supercar, even if it is a few years away. I like the concept of a decennial supercar.

Of course, owners can do whatever they please with their cars, but I sure wish people would just keep them stock, particularly cars like the LaFerrari.

But why? There are hundreds of stock LaFerraris. Red, black, yellow, blue, gray, etc. Why should they all be like that? It’s cool to see a few examples push the envelope. There will always be another launch-spec red car.

Just my opinion. I'm a purist. I just think Ferrari's should remain as they were when they left the factory, particularly the limited edition and super cars. There really is very little that the factory won't do for an owner when the car is being specced.
