Unfortunately no PPI with an auction. That's the risk with an auction, but at least I have all service history documented by previous owner. VIN also came back clean.

Thanks Francois! Counting down the days now.

Congrats and welcome to the family! These cars have an amazing road presence. Once running properly, they are a pleasure, especially with that mandatory Tubi.

Tubi great, capristo even better...most importantly a precat delete and/or cat delete really helps.
Personally i noted more difference with the precat delete than with test pipes...plus the smell without cats could be a bit strongish if engine tuned a bit rich.

I'd love to hear an audio clip of that set up, I've done it to my 550 Maranello and it was spine tingling. Do you get crackles and pops?

    Oh yes it does lol.
Right now got the cats on bc had to pass emission here and the gas smell was less pleasant but it cracks a lot.lol

Thanks all for your warm welcomes. I'm looking forward to being a part of this forum.

Blkdiablo33, I know they are totally different cars but how does the TR drive compared to the F430. My 430 is an F1, so looking forward to driving a manual. However I have read about how difficult it is driving the TR.

It is not hard to drive IF you are used to driving manual and u didnt buy one with a heavy clutch and hard to shift gearbox. Let it warm up and its easy.
Me being european all th cars i had growing up were like this: now if u mostly drive automatic, are not used to no power steering it might take adjustments...
Lastly if you have some kind of physical issue i.e reduced mobility, painful leg, knee or are on the heavy side it might be a hard car for u...
That being said michael jordan is 6"6 and used to drive his to games so u will be fine;)

Nat, you were absolutely correct. It's been a while since I drove a manual and I definitely need the practice. The TR is not as forgiving and I stalled out several times. I need to feather the clutch better but the accelerator is rather heavy. Clutch seemed fine and gearbox is good. Reminds me learning on my first car, a Fiat X19. Also lack of power steering takes some getting used to. Thanks for the advice, you were spot on.

Once you figure the clutch gripping point and u always sort of keep it rolling it becomes easy. I now drive it with one hand often.
Now other advice: if you want to enjoy it anf not be disappointed u need:
    1-a decent exhaust
2-push this baby ! It is a different car after 4/5rpm. Keep it high. It is great in long sweepers and sort of tight corners. Not too tight bc of lack of power steeering...
Push it and it will reward u.
Of course bc of those old thick tires and bad breaks it reaches its limits pretty quick hence people upgrading them often.
Take your time with her. It will reward you, don’t judge her fast; it is a fantastic car.
    See my drive out:

Nice drive! I had the 458 out on the track last week. TR is such a different driving characteristic. I would have been off the side of that cliff for sure

U are correct! The initial question should have an answer and those TR here are selling for anywhere between 80-120k the concourse, very low mileage 86 one can go for more but the prices have been sagging for sure.

IMO the aftermarket shifter and radio don’t help for resale. History and maint. Are great. Testarossa with near 30 k prob brings close to 100. With the miles it would have to be a rare color combo in this market to bring more than $115K +

About 100k USD... seems fair, prices are sagging which is normal after the spike of 14...
