Could have won? Maybe. Should have won? No, I don't think that's fair. As long as Mercedes are able to keep putting their car on pole and keep reliable they have a big advantage that could only really be overcome by absolutely everything going right for Ferrari and that would always be a tremendously tall order. The last few races have been very disappointing but really they've done far better than I ever thought they could or would before the season started (and even after it had started). Jonathan
Well, there was only scant hope at the start of the race and that was quickly dashed on the first lap. Anyway, I've been in "Wait 'til Next Year" mode for a month now. A good season. But, it should have been so much better.
LOL.....funny. Both him and Ocon just held their positions due to the track and altitude. No fight at the back.
For all those people who say elton is the best driver....... yeah right, push came to shove today, he could barely pass a mclaren, and spent over ten laps stuck behind a failing Renault....... oh yeah, he's great....... great recovery from Seb today, shame he couldn't get it back but if it was just a tyre stop, maybe, the nose change takes too long... Alonso showed what a driver he is, stuffed it to elton, who had to wait for ages for a chance, and then almost bungled it despite a car that is proven to be 15kph faster on the straights. My Mrs could've passed Alonso quicker with that kind of performance gap
But they won't. We already know that. Vettel made his own mistakes also this year. Kimi not being able to do anything about Bottas this race finished any chance they had to keep it going.
I've booked the Ferrari team to act as pall bearers at my funeral so they can let me down ONE MORE TIME !!!
Congrats to Hamilton for joining the super small club of the 4 time WDCs. Congrats to Max for driving a superb race. Gets my vote for best drive of the day. And congrats to Stroll for soundly beating Massa.
True dat. It's funny that Hamilton even came into parc ferme of the three top cars. Nobody gives a hoot about a car that far down the field. Normally.
I think Peter was referring to the "usual" best fans ever from the mouth of Hamilton .... FFS just shut up and **** off
Their pre race show was stunning. They carry every race live non stop on TV (no US station does that). One day I'll have to bite the bullet and go watch a race live in Mexico City.
