Last weekend this 250 GT SWB was present at the Ten Mille Tours at the Paul Ricard circuit in France.

250 GT SWB Carlo Vögele : chassis number 1933GT.

But I saw that a 250 GT Pininfarina Coupe 60 had the same chassis number.

    Where is the truth ?

    Many thanks, Boudewijn.

    This dispels the mystery.

Also present was this 250 GT Drogo chassis 1717GT.

Originally, it was a 250 GT PF Coupe 60 (another one!) which was rebodied by Piero Drogo in 1965.

    Ferrari World...
It's not really new, but it's always sad to see that Peter Auto (among others) accepts replicas to guarantee a minimum of show. Definitely far from the time of the historic challenge...

Specially sad for those who bring and race real and original and therefore expensive cars ( compared to replicas) and have to race carefully among more aggressive drivers. By definition, skills apart, we will be in back of the grid as we don't want to risk the integrity of our original cars! If you go to Goodwood, you are warned and may decide not to go to race.

Interesting to note as well that real pros, Emmanuel Pirro and Derek Bell were there and happy to chat with other competitors, not only on track but at lunch, dinner and we were in same hotel as Derek, always nice to talk about cars at breakfast, they have so much to tell about their life as racers. And those pro drive real cars and are much less aggressive as they have nothing to prove than the aspiring Fangio ....
