Puttering around town and stuck in traffic, up to 250 on a warm day. Cruising at speed with wind going over the oil radiator, not above 210. Drive it in temps above 90 with any humidity and all bets are off unless you're driving triple-digits.

1984 Euro 308 GTS QV - I'm lucky if I ever see it get up to 210 in slow traffic on a hot day, it's usually more like 190...

Less than 200 normally on my US 78. 230ish if I spend a lot of time over 5000 rpm on back roads. When it starts to get hot I change up a gear and the oil temps come down. Weather does not seem to affect oil temp for me... just engine revs.

Mine seems to run at around 200 regardless of driving or weather. It might go up fractionally during some prolonged enthusiastic driving.

Yea I was curious as to other 308 oil temps and what would be normal since I haven't driven mine the past few years. And now that I've taken a few short drives I've noticed it gets up to 210. And actually it takes a good while to get there when temps were 70s

oil temperatures depend much about the use you do: low in traffic and common slow driving, high on highways at high speed for a long time. In Celsius usually I'm from 80 to 90 °C (176-194 °F) in summer (after half an hour of driving). Turbo cars have higher oil temperatures when you push, due to the high temperatures exhaust gases that go down in the sump through the oil drain in the turbocharger (194-212 °F).

I usually drive at low-medium speed (as I think is correct with almost 40 years old cars): I push just for a very low time every now and then

    ciao

Don't 308GT4 have a (user) moveable flap to open or close airflow thru the engine oil cooler? I can't find it in the 308GT4 SPC, but seem to recall something about that - yes/no?

Thanks Mike. I thought it important to mention as the OP was talking about 308GT4 and 308B/S (which don't have one). Would you know if they eliminated it on the later 308GT4? The online 308GT4 SPC at RA, I believe, is the later published 308GT4 SPC, and it shows use "X" after running out of "Y" for that shroud.

so basicly street driving in cool to summer temps should be 190 to 220 max roughly. And I have seen way higher than that in racing situ

On motorway runs I tend to drive my gt4 on the oil temp gauge. It will run happily at around 5000 rpm at about 100degC, but higher than that I back off for a bit to bring it down. I don't go over 3000 rpm until the oil temp is off the bottom either.
