Current Favorite F1 Driver

Nope, i guess nobody likes warewolfs....

 

I root for Vettel in the Ferrari but I think my favorite driver is Ricciardo at the moment. There is not much one can not like at him...

 

9 votes for Hamilton so far, o dear, Ferrarichat is deteriorating.....

I always cheer most for Ferrari's #1 to win (no problem with #2 either), but Seb made several unforced, boneheaded errors this season. Hope he gets that under control if he wants another title.

The last few races (and including those that remain), I've been cheering for Mad Max, because he poses a grave threat to Elton in the future. Currently more than Ferrari I have to say.....

I think that too, but then, elton has his fans on here which is pretty obvious, Alonso has a longer career, and has appealed therefore to people who've enjoyed various 'versions' of F1 (I myself voted Alonso, as I enjoyed and respected his battles with Michael, and felt he did a good job at Ferrari, and his failure was actually that of the team in supplying a car that scuppered him, the talent was there).

Vettel is now ferrari, and is very much of the mould of Schumacher, hard working etc, but he won his titles against us, and hasn't been around as long as Alonso and some others, and I suspect he and Kimi share best driver status with some who vote for the ferrari drivers first and foremost

 

Wow considering all the vitriol I read on here about Lewis Hamilton, I'am somewhat surprised at the vote, however it's nice to know a good few respect the competition, and recognize a great talent when they see one, IMO he certainly helps to keeps F1 in the spotlight, and is currently the one to beat.

I envisage some great future battles between Lewis, Max and Seb, and I'am sure they will be chomping at the bit to pinch his crown.

Yea I have to say I am rather surprised at how many votes Alonso got as well. I thought he was public enemy number 1 around here.

 

Well yes, I'd attribute a couple of those votes as protest votes at Ham doing so well

 

It's entirely possible to be a Hamilton fan and not drone on about how much better he is.

Verstappen and Alonso are not much loved around here too but decent amount of votes

 

Yes agreed Bas, and it's quite possible to intensely dislike the guy and not bang on about it in every thread.

 

Raikkonen or Ricciardo. Actually, I'd love to see Ricciardo in red someday.

Been a Hamilton fan since his first race, but am starting to really enjoy Verstappen. Voted HAM, but could be VER in a year or two.

First of all, I like to see Ferrari win, so that makes it Kimi and Vetel.

However, when Alonso was at Ferrari, that didn't hold.

Kimi is mine. What he did at Lotus was impressive.
