Article says it was commissioned in 86, so by the time it was developed and built, probably 87 - good call

I personally don't like the engine cover on this car. Other conversion like Straman use the original tr engine cover which makes it look more original IMO. It may be the ONLY genuine tr convertible but not the nicest!
    I like the Stramans.

the top mechanism is supported by an electronically raised roll over bar, and the car is fitted with a valeo transmission, same as agnelli's personal f40, because agnelli had leg trouble and could not really operate the clutch pedal well.

Definitely! Ferraris look good in (almost) every color, but why did Agnelli choose argento? o_O

In 1986 Agnelli commissioned a one-off of Ferrari’s flagship of the era. The car was finished in silver with lavish dark blue upholstery. Why not red? AG is the periodic table’s symbol for silver, an element represented by the first two letters of his last name. Even the prancing horse was cast in the precious metal.

The valeo shifted in 100ms which is amazing if u think about it...it is just as fast if i am correct as the enzo was 16 years later.

That's wild! I read that the valeo was used in a few mondials, but why not in more models? It sounds super cool.

It looks great in person. I saw it at the Ferrari 70 festivities in Maranello this year where it won Best GT Car among the assembled Ferraris.
