The mismatch isn't so much color as it is texture. Wait until the car is seen in direct sunlight!

Understood. My comment was not a dig, just a technical observation ;)

Is that shield painted like the old cars? That looks cool :)

Amazing spec! I never would have even thought about this option.
I would love to hear more about the process. Was there any push-back regarding this spec?

Not really. The dealership prepared Ferrari Tailor Made that we were going to go bare aluminum before our appointment. So when we got there and was asked paint options, when I said "none", they just nodded and said."ok".

Congratulations, a wonderful achievement by TM and yourself. Look forward to more shots in sunlight as well as the interior.

I think hats off to Ferrari for taking on this demanding brief and doing such a great job.

Wow!!! Phenomenal concept and execution! I also love the painted shields, which we spec'd on our TM 812S. Congratulations! Enjoy that beauty!

A little bit of trivia my dealer shared with me.

While I have yet to take delivery and drive the car home, when I do get handed the keys, this could be the last time a customer will be handed a set of regular keys for a new Ferrari.

All new Ferrari car keys for all new cars are all keyless-go!

Congratulations for your creativity and bold decision.

And congratulations to Ferrari and TM for being able to execute it so well. I'm sure your request has presented numerous challenges to Ferrari - matching the surfaces, longevity of the treatment, etc.

Amazing and Bold. Exquisite taste. Would love to see it in the metal. It made me remember of this:

Absolutely epic... Can we see the interior ? You have a special kind of leather isn't it ?

Another thing, I noticed your exhaust tips seem to have a special brilliant finish, not the usual finsih that I don't really like. Can you confirm ?

My interior iPhone pictures are crap. Car is waiting to be detailed and clearbra so it might be a few days. Yes, it is special leather called Count Prestige. Tips are polished.

Thanks everyone for all the positive feedback!

Absolutely love what you've done with your car - beautiful and pushing the boundaries of a Ferrari finish. In its life the car will get various dings etc. which, I guess will be difficult to repair and keep the finish. Is the idea that over time, these just become part of the character of the car rather like the patina and scratches on old wood furniture enhance its looks?
