    I have the opportunity to buy a Ferrari 430 that was driven in and laid up for 9 years.for a third of the current market prevailing price. Its a F1 model. What are the possible thing that can go wrong in this car and is it worth the money and effort.

    Some of some of it depends on how it was put away, where, prep etc.
    It's very hard to answer really.
    I see it as more of a negative than a positive, but everything has a price.

    I'd expect to put a few thousand into it, plus tires, so factor that into the price.

    I am not a mechanic, but I enjoy watching Chasing Classic Cars on TV. I would think that given to a competent, thoughtful mechanic like Roger, the odds are extremely high that this engine is purring within a day and you got yourself an amazing deal.

    I've heard the 430 isn't great at "Sitting"
    I think some hoses can go bad.
    I agree that you should ask in the 360/430 Section
